Cullman County School campuses will be closed Tuesday 8/31/21 due to the threat of severe weather. Students and staff will work remotely.
Vinemont Middle School currently has an absentee rate above 15 percent. As a result, beginning on Monday, August 30th it is required for all students to wear a mask while indoors. Masks will be required until our absentee rate falls below 15 percent. If our numbers continue to rise, we will have to transition to remote learning. Parents, please create a backup plan now in case we have to close our buildings. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work our way through this pandemic.
Schedule Change: Our Volleyball Team will play one game tomorrow vs Fairview @ Vinemont at 4pm.
Thank you for supporting VMS!
"Each year sixth graders at Vinemont Middle School are offered the opportunity to join our beginner band. Students learn how to play an instrument, read music, and be a part of an integral group on campus.
For our program, we want to ensure each student has that opportunity regardless of access to an instrument. So, we are asking for your help in securing instruments for our beginner band students.
We are in need of flutes, clarinets, alto saxophones, trumpets and trombones to offer to our students at no charge.
Dig deep in the closet, clean out the garage, call up uncle Joey who was in the band back in the day, and please consider donating it to the Vinemont Band Programs. Through your donation, a student will have the opportunity to learn a lifelong skill alongside making lifelong memories being a part of this outstanding group on campus. If you are a former band student we hope that your experience made a positive impact in your life and through your donation, the same can be carried on for the next generation of students.
Feel free to contact Mr. King at sking@ccboe.org or by making a donation to Vinemont Band Boosters RE: Instrument Drive and mailing or dropping by the high school office.
Thank you Mayor Dodson and the Vinemont Town Council for investing in our students and community! We are blessed with great community leadership. WE ARE VINEMONT!!
