VMS Winter Formal this Friday, 6-9. Parents, you are welcome to come take pictures from 5:45-6:15, at 6:15 we would ask parents to leave. Parents will pick up their children from the lobby and sign them out. If you are picking up another child, we will need a note to be brought in by Friday, 8-3, like a bus pass. This is for your child's safety. The million-dollar question: can they have their phone? Yes, they can. Once they enter, they cannot leave unless a parent is here to pick them up. I hope this is a fun and memorable night for them all. -Ch J

I hope you are doing well. I wanted to reach out to remind you about your child’s upcoming Liberty Learning Civics Project deadline. Seventh-grade students now have two weeks remaining, and the final deadline to submit their required materials is March 9th.
Each seventh-grade student must bring five pictures of their group actively working on their project. These pictures are not optional — they are part of the project requirements and will count as a test grade in PowerSchool. Because this is a test grade, it will have a significant impact on their average.
Please take a moment to check in with your child about their group’s progress and make sure they have a clear plan to complete this requirement. Waiting until the last minute will make it very difficult to meet the expectations.

The Vinemont Marching Eagle Band is beginning their Color Guard tryout clinics this Friday from 3-5pm. Meet at the bandroom to receive your equipment after school.
No prior experience needed. We will teach you all the skills from spin and dance that you need for the auditions.
We will meet February the 27th and March 6th to teach you the skills needed for the audition on March 27th. There will also be a full week of clinics March 23rd-26th from 3-5pm.
