Our VMS math teams are students who excel and are advanced in the subject of mathematics.  We have 3 teams(6th grade, 7th grade, and Algebra 1(8th Grade)).  Team members learn or reinforce skills obtained in class as well as advanced skills beyond the classroom. They practice during the year to participate in local and surrounding math tournaments against other schools as well as some online tournaments.  We also compete in our big tournament... The Cullman County Middle School Math Tournament every year vs all other Cullman County schools.  It is a great experience and opportunity for our students that will help further advance math skills.
